The Fed's GDP Now Number for March Is 2.7%

The Atlanta Fed GDP now number, which is sort of a nowcast of what they think the data are telling us about the current quarter, is showing 3.2% growth. So that really suggests that the economy has not slowed down. Now, we're only going to just start getting March data in the next few weeks so that could change things. But right now, between the fourth quarter and the first quarter, still looks pretty strong.
