India produces between 90,000 and over one lakh medical graduates every year but the problem seems to remain that most of them do not want to serve in rural areas. Dr. Suddha said her points are very well taken she has given a very practical outlook to the situation. We can never imagine MBBS doctors to be placed at the sub center level so that is something that's going to require us the luxury of Western European nations. If you want to improve the retention and recruitment of doctors in rural areas we need to focus on bundled interventions now according to WHO.
