The Crow's Tribal Enemies

The agency was getting a tuck on a fairly regular basis by the Crow's tribal enemies, particularly the blackfoot, the Cheyenne and the Lakota. He said in the early 70s, it was almost once a week that there would be an attack. Sue Indians shot into my living quarters on three different occasions while I was at the mission agency. One bullet broke my wife's soup dish. She got furious as Tom reports the story. He said, oh, they broke my soup dish, kill them. That one is almost, it's pretty much one of my favorite scenes in the whole book.
