History on Fire

CHAPTER

The Crow's Tribal Enemies

The agency was getting a tuck on a fairly regular basis by the Crow's tribal enemies, particularly the blackfoot, the Cheyenne and the Lakota. He said in the early 70s, it was almost once a week that there would be an attack. Sue Indians shot into my living quarters on three different occasions while I was at the mission agency.
