I want back to an earlier point that you made, which is, to day sowfer, engineering is an art. I think it's always to anyone who writes god an feel like an art. But we are moving more and more into a world where, due to the importance of softr engineering, it needs to become more of an engineering discipline. We have too many of these triage moments in our brains where we have to figure out on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis where to spend our time and energy. That's what i basically have been building my entire career with canonical bud roggeways. The best conceptual internal engineering system that i ever heard of was probably google
Eiso and Jason step up to the mic to make their wild guess on how the state of software engineering will evolve, given what we know now.
The tech industry will look a lot different in 20 and 30 years. From autonomous coding to self-driving cars to automatically powered engineering leadership. We might not be ready for that yet, but our kids are gonna love it!
