The Federal Reserve raised rates by 75 basis points. The reason that they're raising rates is because they want people to stop demanding things, make it more expensive for people to be alive so we can fight inflation. Jerome Powell highlighted that he thinks the labor market is too strong based on job openings. Quits rates show that maybe the labor market isn't as strong as he might think. If targeting jobs and putting people out of work is really the best way to fight inflation?
