How Do You Write a Book About Queer Community and Trans Community?
I've been around queer communities various kinds for a really long time at this point. I think my big question is just kind of like, why is it so hard for people to kind of goodwill, to build a just or even functional community? And also that all the people in this book are probably not in their different ways doing very well both at getting what they want and at being nice to each other. So it's definitely a book that tries to ask second-order questions about these kind of conflicts and these kind of attempts at resolution.
