What's the Moral Responsibility of the Artist?

In the paintings, there's nota interpretation given by by a text, or by necessarily recognizable presences in in the pictures. And i feel that what simon manages to do in this work is a, i suppose, withdraw that to the point that almost you have to come and s you would a god or a shrine or a you have to pay attention. You have to create it to an extent, which it is very hard to do in the medium of language. Although again, unlike a god orA shrine, which i sort of generally going to be an embodied image, something that one can perhaps read based on society’s codes.
