"There was no one that was telling me like, hey, here's what you've got to think about," he says. "We lost guys and then we got back in the fight because we had no time anymore." He recalls a trip where two SAS troops were killed on target but there wasn't enough time for mourning. The commander briefed five different task units before they flew off with all 60 soldiers into battle.
