Renaming a Court House After the First Black Judge on the Florida Supreme Court

The original version renaming the court house passed the senate without a recorded vote. It was essentially unanimous, as you would but when it got to the house of representatives, all but ten republicans voted against it. The bill had to go back to the senate because the house democrats had amended it to add a post office renaming to it so it wasn't exactly the same. Andad what actually happened from this? I mean, in the final version of the gun law, the court house renaming made it into law. So this didn't really have an effect. It besically just slowed the bill down.
