The Negative Confession in the Book of the Dead

Egyptologists have nicknamed chapter 125 the negative confession chapter. It was supposed to be spoken by a person on his deathbed once he was cleansed and purified. The confessions are essentially an index of ancient Egyptian morality. They perhaps epitomize ancient Egyptian religions' differences from Christianity and Islam.
