The End of Premium Television
Nick Pizzolato's "Good Girls Revolt" was the last of a certain kind of like premium television in the so-called Golden Age of TV. The show had an inherent soullessness that people then just tried to replicate in an assembly line type way, he says. He also thinks some of the people who might have like an undangerous or dangerous idea in TV might be too much for what you know it has ultimately ended up being very conventional at its end.
