The Importance of Education in Social Movements

Students are increasingly calling to decolonize education. It's a set of tasks and responsibilities that usually black students and other students of color are having to engage in. There is not a task being taken up by other students, which poses a threat to their mental health and well-being. And that's significant. In addition to that conversely, I would also say that thinking more expansively about education, there's perhaps far more to be learned in those movements than there is in any university classroom.
