The Importance of Sequence in Painting

I love the economy of it. There's a certain cleverness in that. It has a British kind of flavour. And then film obviously is a massively important. A tutor once said to you that the way that you compose your paintings was more akin to somebody making movies than it is to composing it. So I really see, actually, you know, he prophesies I'm going more towards that. But if I were to make a film, it wouldn't be like a feature length or something. It'd be like an epileptic fit. More like a brackage type thing. The more trite, the better.
