Ukraine: A Reflection of the Republican Party

David Gergen: Ukraine feels echo of where the Republican Party, the elected Republicans were the RNC was about immigration in the aftermath of the 2012 election. He says that at this point amongst the sort of the base of the party, the infotainment consuming primary voting base, the opposition to Democrats on Ukraine has hardened into the more davish position. Gergen: I think Biden has not ultimately gone far enough and supporting Ukraine. But there's even in the relatively recent past, ample evidence of base Republican voters being upset at a Democratic president for being too dovish.
