The Voice and Its Elaboration

In the book, I look at how when you look at these traditional, more traditional repertoire of ding beige singers, there is an enormous amount of kind of energy that goes into vocal elaboration. We're really like working on the voice and elaborating your voice is able to kind of connect, make affects and emotions circulate amongst listeners and audiences beyond sort of the boundary of the individual subject. So here the voice and its elaboration, like really working with a voice. And this is something that I think singers probably in a lot of, you know, that's not just true for Kurdistan, but you know, an opera singer might work in the same way.
