The market is anticipating about 200 basis points or 2% in a cut in the federal funds rate over the next couple of years. The Fed on average has cut rates by almost 7%, which is not possible right now. If anything, we would expect that rates would get cut significantly back towards 1% or even towards zero again if they really needed to stimulate the economy.
