How Many Universal Grammars Are There?

Chompsky came up with a list of universals in the sixties. Over time this shrank because people found more languages out there notably chompsky only studied english. He basically said well all the languages are basically english anyway so he he only really looked at english. But then when people looked at the languages they're like oh well okay so it turns out these universals aren't actually universal and that's how we got to where we are now.
