By 2005, Zano Pf have all but given up pretending the electoral process is free and fair. Constituency boundaries are redrawn to increase the Zano vote. Postal votes from exiles in barbarians are blocked. Thousands of fictitious names suddenly appear on the electoral rolls. But even with the cheating, Magabia succeeded in clawing just 16 seats back from the MDC.
