Cardinal Mahoney from LA, who's got real big problems, is going to be voting for the next pope. How do you gain any credibility with survivors and that whole movement when they get to vote on this guy? I don't get this at all. To have a black pope, and the church is exploding in Africa, is that within the realm of possibility? That has been on the table, and there have been serious discussions in Rome around how to make that happen.
