There's just not enough time to do that kind of thing, as you can see. So let me go back to Thomas, picking straight up from where I left off last episode. It says the same sort of thing happens with birds, Nate, running with an abstraction from the conceptualized animals that can run. Technically speaking, the above definition of cat is formed from both first level concepts and higher level concepts. And people have problem situations. The child might have no clue what an animal is and might learn what a cat is first because there might be a cat in the house and no other animals. You don't need to have the concept of animal or communication before you have the concept
