I would hitch ike to my dad's store on the highway. That experience was probably better than college in terms of understanding branding, and why people choose things that might embarrass them or make them feel better. Brands are symbols that signify whatever we imbue in them,. And one of the examples that i cite in the ted tak is something that we all perceive herrifically now, which is the swastika. The marketing is the way in which we manufacture meaning.
