How to Pitch Findings That Are Incremental
There is often novelty, right? I'm working on a piece right now with the researcher at Duke about how conservatives get sort of on the hook for sharing most of fake news. But his research finds that it actually, it's not all conservatives, it's a particular subset of conservatives. That's something we didn't know before and that's interesting. And so presenting things in a way that makes clear what is novel, how else we might have been thinking about this and what part of that is true or not true. Other work is sort of working with on work around New Year. There are things we know and they're not necessarily breakthroughs but can be extraordinarily helpful.
