Midwestern Small Business Owner - How Did That Transition Happen?
i'd always been making money of my own on the internet, or just like selling stuff in real life. But i eventually started an onlie store when i was a junior at college and it started making really good money. And so that's kind of how i got that small business mentality. I left school and moved out to san francisco and started a business that was eventually sold for a very small amount. Then after that, i started hoslcon, which is our event now. The way that i made the conference popular was by writing news letters about each speaker. Now we're using content to get people to come to an event where they can build a huge meat company.
