The Spirit of God Returns
The spirit of God comes rushing back in after the sacrifice of Jesus. Peter has to stand up and open his first sermon at the birth of the church by saying, we're not drunk. It's too early. This is what you're watching. The intimate animating presence of God is available in Genesis 1 and 2 that left in Genesis 3. And so he was going to go and take the death that we deserve, take our condemnation and shame and sin into the dirt. When he rises, our sin is removed. And so the spirit of God is free to return.
