The epic part of this is not just the story of what happens to Ben Hur's fortune and his revenge story but the epic of Ben Hur's faith journey. I think that it's kind of a poetic thing then that for so much of the film Ben Hur ends up kind of ignoring these gospel events. What is the picture that they use as the backdrop for the movie when you have the seven minute introduction? It's the creation of Adam from the sistine chapel ceiling. How many hours would you say you've spent looking at that sistine chapel fresco I'm I've been away from it from far too long.It's closed for me it's driving me a little crazy
