There's always a contrast between the marketing blur of the caribbean, you know, son son band, music and all the good stuff. The brutality experienced by the people and the forefathers of the people is there all the time. My parents were very poor. They went to school there. For my grandmother was beaten while she was in labor because she didn't finish catching her section of beach sugar cane. And so that's the history that we come from. It's a very violent, very exploiti and huge inequalities.
