The US Spending on the War on Crimea
The omnibus bill includes about $45 billion in new aid for Ukraine, bringing total US spending on the war to about $112 billion. It's more aid than the US has ever supplied to any country in one year since at least the Vietnam War. And it's also far more than the $84 billion Russia is expected to spend on its military in 2023.
