The Role of the Employer in Healthcare
In healthcare, the employers have been the mark forever. My biggest disappointment has been that they pay premium prices for routine services and haven't demanded more value for their purchases. We need intermediary disintermediation in a big way in healthcare. But I also think there are very few companies that are very good at the benefit design business.
