Several people admitted to going into the jimmy during the days that it sat at the dollar general before steve was reported missing. The driver's seat was pushed overly close to the steering wheel, and they thought it was too close for him to drive comfortably. Finger prints and d and a swabs were sent to the lab for processing but Steve's keys have never been found. Investigators called the towing company to see if they could check how much gas was inside the vehicle. Couldsteve hav exited the dollar general and realized that he was out of gas?
