Pinterest's Operating Loss Is More Than $243 Million

Uber was profitable last quarter thanks to investments in other businesses. Neither Lyft nor Uber has turned a profit on an annual basis. Pinterest said first quarter revenue grew nearly 5% year over year. However, the company's operating loss widened to more than $243 million up from less than $4 million this time last year.
