Lewis's Plate of the Dao Was Really Good

Sindy: I think we live in a kind of new age spiritualism, and that might make something somemihty very uncomfortabe. If lewis was writing right now, in a new agea kind of time period, would he have used that word? Probably not, because it would have had a specific religious connotation when he was trying to avoid that. And so some of the things he's saying so carefully worded mean something different to us than they do to him. You know, what i hear from my adult students who've taken my class with regard to the dow is  that they're given new eyes to see how much has been lost.
