Most of these cases will resolve on their own and need nothing more than a period of observation to check it's not getting worse. So if they don't need any treatment then that's essentially fine they can just go home and have the offending medication stopped. They might need some antihistamines or a short course of steroids although there isn't a huge vast amount of evidence for that. If they did have a response to antihistamines then you might need to continue that for up to six months after the episode and have a short courseof steroids.
