understanding emotional needs and being able to regulate our nervous system accordingly for that deep attunement is a really important way of working with our relationship with with our body as well. are rooted in shame you know being quite angry at my body around traumas for example sexual assault sometimes what can happen is we can be really angry at our body for not keeping us safe but I love the compassion side to things because it's so important to note that your relationship with food serves a function  and slowly and compassionally changing that if it isn't serving you says cat.
