Is the Turring Test a Gold Standard?

The turring test is basically cana o chap bot, or can ani fool someone into that it's a human em. And you know, te there've been competitions that people have won where they, the ther chap, ought fools a human judge for like three minutes, into thinking that it's human. I think we're still dealing with artificial intelligence that does one task and does it very well. Ve no idea how to make that broader. The way that even my four year old can do multiple things.
