All of these driving scenes were filmed on Burbank Boulevard near Balboa Park, which was our go-to street. There's no palm trees on the street. I love that it was someone's job to drive around the vicinity of where we shoot looking for stretches of road with no palm trees. The other thing I loved about the deleted scenes for this is that Erin has a talking head where she explains how she is coming up with conversation topics.
