How to Take Constructive Feedback

i think creatives in particular are so sensitive about learning how to take feedback, like they can't separate feedback on them from feedback on the work. I remember king when i turned the first draft of free time into the developmental editor herb, i genuinely, in my heart of hearts, did not know if he was going to write back and say, you should scrap this whole thing.
