Just hearing those words back is often transformative. It helps to become real in a way that it wasn't before and shows them that they perhaps had more access to the answer than they thought. I think also sometimes it highlights the ways that we're being silly and being self-defeating, but you're able to do it in a gentle way when you're not saying, look, you're being stupid or, you know, looking for help. That's change talk. You've enlisted in change talk by asking why is it so high.
