In J using imaginary numbers, you can actually insert zeros between ones. To me, that's what an array language allows me to do. It takes it up to a different level. If you go to languages that are not array language, but can represent arrays, such as C++, you're doing an awful lot of work just to work the array. But in an array language, it allows you to work with an array and then play with an array.
