The Benefits of Self Compassion

Buddhists have this term what they call idiot compassion versus true compassion. No true compassion means compassion in the face of a good faith effort where somebody has tried something and they failed. If you don't even try to eat right or exercise, then you shouldn't have compassion for yourself because that's kind of being a wussy.
