Are They Really Breaking Into Other Dimensions?

Other dimensions could include both time and space. They could be parallel versions of our own right? Or it could be forward and backward time. Those are both considered other dimensions. Do we even know wel they have said that they are trying to break into other dimensions, bring energy in from other dimensions or send information back and forth to other dimensions? That's what worries me more than anything.
