The Freedom of Youth, You Can Do Whatever You Want

I envied experience. I sought after trips and adventure and everything else. It was my God, that was my idol. Jesus is the only treasure that died to have you. And they've made a lot of really great movies about men and women who have sacrificed themselves for their one great love. But Jesus died for us because we are his love. We're told in Hebrews that for the joy set before him, he endured the cross. There's a lot there, but it includes you and me, sinful, twisted, hearted people,. saved and redeemed and welcomed into his home.
