Laws of Justice - The Principles According to Justice
In Exodus 22, Moses's father in law says he is making the people of Israel wait for him to tell them what is right and what is wrong. In Leviticus 2, Moses writes down principles of judgment and Principles according to justice. The laws of restitution have to do with justice, not vengeance; they say there's a limit here to vengeance.
