Is Channing a Prostitute in Way of Kings?

There have been quite a few questions asked about this. Peter has said that chana has been seen on screen by at least one character in the first two books. So that could be either lis or shalon's mum. There is some out there speculation that shana, not being chalon's mum, is seen in form of the prostitute that adelan saves in way of kings. I don't remember if that prostitute was red headed, but she could have changed her appearance.
