Is There a Priority to Keep the Family Together?

In evangelical churches, the priority is what can we do to keep the marriage together. I think there are two things that could happen. One would be that the elders the pastors see signs of change and repentance at a real bare minimum. And then we got to a point where we saw a woman who was in the story where things like, oh, this woman is reporting that her kids are being abused or groomed at home. The pastor said, well, I want you to go home because he just told us that he's not going to do it again to you. They think problem solved in a real quick way.
