Was It Artificial Insemination?

It was all artificial insemination. The AI man would come as we called it, or we'd bring the AI man, choose which bull we wanted and then a straw went up the vagina. It's not profitable for farmers to allow the calf to continue consuming the milk after the colostrum they first have. I always found the ladies did a better job, probably the elephant or arm, and things and they seemed to do just as good job as a gentleman.
