The Fed is destroying $95 billion a month through quantitative tightening, which is the opposite of quantitative easing. The high interest rates are already causing property prices to weaken. As the Fed drains $1.1 trillion a year, that is going to take money out of the financial markets and cause savings to decline indirectly.
