VTE Chemical Prophylaxis in Low Risk Patients

VTE's account for up to five to 10% of hospital deaths. We don't know if all of those VTE's were developed in the hospital. It's very possible that the patients had them when they came in and appropriately we do not screen every single patient for VTE. But, you know, there's no real way to know,. but in the vein of not wanting to do harm, such a good plan.
