Decaf Coffee Is Not Caffeine Free

Decaf coffee is not completely caffeine free because of the processes they use. It always happens to green beans before they're roasted which I didn't know. The original method was to heat up the beans or soak them in water then add a solvent to dissolve the caffeine and take it out of the beans. So instead there's a couple of things I use. You can use a methylene chloride that's basically paint stripper or ethyl acetate but you'll hate this. Ethyl acetate is called a natural solvent because it can be derived from fruit and vegetables. But actually the chameleon word of the health food industry is 'natural'
