Sally Kohn is the co-founder and CEO of ideo detwork. She says families need to know that there are people who can take care of them when they're sick or have a health crisis. The workday doesn't end at 3:30pm, so many kids don't get enough time with their parents in the summer for family activities. Designers should be able to help solve these problems by creating more integrated systems which support all aspects of home life," she says.
