The Importance of Internal Rotation in Basketball

If the athlete in basketball is always like knees forward, kind of on their toes more, then they usually don't have that plantar flex position where they start from. As you descend in a squat, you're actually, so there's an initial point of kind of relaxing and allowing gravity to do its job when you're at the top or down. Then there's that IR kicks in to compress and come back up. So if you're, you know, like third world squatting sitting on your heels, that type of thing is very, very biased towards early. And we'd obviously notice something wrong with pitchers because it's just not a normal human thing to throw 90 miles an hour
